We’ve designed several applications and systems for the cutlery industry, namely during the M.Sc. thesis of Gabriel Afonso done in cooperation with the partner company IVO Cutlery. His outstanding work in this area was planned to proceed for a Ph.D. project. Since he passed away I never wanted to work in this area again, although we had very strong results and the systems proved to be very competitive.
