There are several indexing databases in the world. It’s somehow difficult to select only one, since some of them only index journal and conference papers, other index also books and chapters in books and yet others also index other forms of scientific publications. Since the real impact of our scientific work can be measure with several indicators (number of citations, h-index, h10-index, i-10 index, highly-influential-citations, number of paper/book downloads, number of copies sold, etc., but also the impact on industry and society), I list bellow several of the databases that index my R&D work:
- Mendely Profile
- Elsevier Scopus (ID:57205068541)
- Clarivate ResearchID (Web of Science) – ID:Y-6351-2018
- GOOGLE Scholar
- SEMANTIC Scholar (Allen Institute for AI)
- ResearchGate
- ORCID (0000-0002-2504-0645)
There are more than 100 million technical and scientific books in the world. Elsevier SCOPUS selected a few for indexing.
Fortunately, several of my books are indexed by SCOPUS, namely, Springer-Nature “Industrial Robot Programming” and Springer-Nature “Welding Robots”.
See full list of books indexed by SCOPUS here.
